Eric Marturano has called Tredyffrin Township home since 1996. He is a living testament to the value of a T/E education: a district where he excelled as a student, athlete, musician, peer mediator, and friend. He loved growing up in T/E so much, that he and his wife Erin decided to raise their sons, Marco & Leo, in our great school district.
Eric is a lifelong learner with an appreciation for & curiosity of the world around him. He values open communication, thoughtful discussion, & genuinely learning from those who think differently than him. He has carried this common-ground mentality throughout his life, workplaces, & social spheres and has the T/E School District to thank for fostering these critical thinking & positive communication skills from a young age.
Professionally, Eric has built a career using curiosity & a learning mindset as a researcher. He has helped financial & pharmaceutical companies, consumer brands, professional sports leagues, teams, and sponsors use research and data to make better business decisions and build better products.
Eric is also academically involved in his field of sports research and has been a panelist for the Villanova School of Business Annual Business of Sports Conference (2022) and has routinely attended the MIT Sloan Sports Analytics Conference (2013-2025).
He earned his MBA from Villanova University concentrating in Analytics, Strategic Management, and Finance, and his B.A. from Boston College where he double majored in Economics & Philosophy, minored in African Studies. Eric also called games on WZBC radio for the football & men’s basketball teams.
If you couldn’t tell by now, sports have always been a large part of Eric’s life and that love started right here in T/E, where Eric was a varsity member of the Conestoga Football team, played in (and now coaches for) Berwyn-Paoli Little League, and participated in youth sports organizations such as the YMCA Basketball, Paoli Wildcats, and Conestoga Generals. It was in these local community pillars where Eric first gained an appreciation for teamwork & open communication. He hopes to bring these values to the T/E School Board.
Eric looks forward to investing his time, effort, & love into continuing to make Tredyffrin-Easttown a wonderful and affordable place to live for everyone.
