meet Bogdan Rosca, T/E sch Dist director candidate (reg. 2)

Advanced Degree Technology Professional, Dad, 1st Generation American (Romania), Republican

Bogdan  Rosca is a passionate technology executive with deep expertise in Artificial Intelligence, Data Analytics and Cyber Security.

As  the Head of Data Strategy and Architecture Office at AmerisourceBergen and Director of Research for Data and Analytics at Siemens he drove  significant innovation in his  domain and enabled novel business  capabilities.

The  years he spent in Healthcare and Pharmaceutical companies, local to  Philadelphia and New Jersey, as well as his partnerships with technology  providers like Microsoft, DataBricks, Informatica and Snowflake, gave him a unique insight into the technology trends and technical skills in high demand on the local job market.

Education is his other passion, as shown by the Adjunct Professor positions held at Temple University in Philadelphia and Transylvania University in  Romania where he taught Artificial Intelligence and Advanced  Programming courses.

He  intends to put this expertise to good use as a TE SchoolBoard Director where he would focus on elevating STEM and to introduce advanced Artificial Intelligence, Data Analytics and Cyber Security curricula, starting from Middle School and progressing all the way through High  School.
These  skills would not only enable High School graduates to get good paying  jobs but would also help establish university partnerships and funding, positioning T/E as a critical source of high quality, well prepared  higher education students.

Born  in Romania, Bogdan moved to the US in 2012 with his wife and child. As  an immigrant he understands the difficulties minorities experience while having a full appreciation and gratitude for the freedoms and opportunities the United States generously offered him and his family.

As little as $15/mo (~$.50/d) would REALLY help our mission
